Earlier this year on UKClimbing was a great competition to win an all expenses paid holiday to South America to join some of the world's best climbers on the Petzl RocTrip.

Saw one the other day. Orange polystyrene is the best way I can describe it, so a lightweight helmet with no shiny shell outer. Ridiculously light.

In reply to UKC News: The helmet in the vid is the Sirocco, to be released 2013. All the Petzl team had them and they were obscenely light. It certainly seems like the closest you can get to feeling like you don't have a lid on while still being protected.

For the record, there is no sales pitch for this helmet in the blog. I have mentioned the gear I was kindly given by Lyon because I genuinely thought it was all great stuff, but it was actually the Meteor III that I used.
