I'm no great plastic puller but that is certainly a respectable route not just for the novelty but the situation and commitment too.

There's a dam on the right driving up the valley from Chamonix towards Martigny which had a similar line of bolts running up it, Lac d'Emosson dam, but the last I heard was that climbing it had been banned.

In reply to colina: yes! me and some friends drove over in a weekend to climb that, and do the bungee jump at the start of 007 golden eye. i thought it was amazing, yes its not rock, but the trip was fun and the climb was like nothing i'd done before.

if you can get 4 people in a decent car its a cheep weekend trip you'll not forget.

my friends youtube channel with vid.

It could be the most boring route in the world depending on the route setting!

im not really one for plastic but looks like some awesome exposure, would be fun to do as a day trip if i ever found myself in the area.

you'd have to miss out the last bolt and take a lob from the top!

In reply to Seb Lee: Brilliant idea and video. I've looked at doing it in a weekend before, but not seriously enough it seems. Never found the friends or will power to go - but you have just inspired me to sort this trip out right now!
