Can the UKC collective recommend any good TV series that are starting up/ recently started as homeland has just finished?

if you have never seen it then get hold of Dexter. i think its on about season 6 now but you can get the first few seasons pretty cheap and sell them on when done.

It is Funny/Dark/Dramatic all at the same time and very original

Southland on More 4 Thursday is a good and extremely fast-paced cop show.

For something more cerebral - The Good Wife series 4 is coming soon.

D'you know, I felt exactly the same.

I was recommended Hatfields and McCoys (5USA), and poo-poo'd it as it had Kevin Costner, and was a western. It was really good! (Had it on DVD). Very 'period', realistic, and close to (what appears) to be the real happenings.

Good acting, gritty, mad situations. Good TV

"sons of anarchy" just seen season 4 great fun violent, funny, every character is different etc

"misfits" just watched season 1 and 2 over christmas, barking mad

and "the booth at the end" all the story happens in your own head kinda thing
