I'm planning to head up to Borrowdale and climb at Great End this weekend, can anyone give a current status of conditions for Central Gully, South East Gully and South East Buttress.

Anyone been up recently??

In reply to warthog:

I haven't been up so the following is just an educated guess.

There hasn't been any / very little freeze thaw on the hills so 'classic' snow gully lines are in poor / not in condition, (from what I saw on Bowfell on Sunday and following forecasts.) Best bet is mixed or some water ice routes at the moment and there are better places than Great End for these.
