Any one use it in anger? looks good, any downsides/glaringly obvious faults?

In reply to andrew breckill:
Looked at the specs/pictures.... all mesh inner, could be a bit cold. looks small *and* expensive.

I'd go for a uk-made Lightwave instead (first thing I thought of when I saw th epics. I've got one, actually! it's great, but I'm just not keen on 1 man tents anymore, I like my space . So I might be selling it ). If I had the money, i'd go for a crux or hilleberg, they're nice .

I also have a 2-3 man Wolfskin tent. nice pole system, bit heavy & unfortunately the flysheet has gone sticky. Still good for summer campsites..

In reply to thin bob: interesting, I have a crux x2, it's a great tent. Was looking for something really light and able to take strong winds. The mesh was a concern, but may not be an issues as I have a good down bag. After reading a few blogs in the last few minutes I think the killer maybe headroom. Did see the light wave on cheap tents.com website and it looked ok. I think a visit to a tent show is in order.
