how do i obtain a log book

i need a bit of help... i am trying to get a log book so i can start getting awards for climbing, i am a BMC member and have registered for mountain training but i have know idea where or how i get a log book?

can anyone enlighten me please?

You need to register for an award by paying a registration fee on the mat website and as part of that you get a log book. Or just get a diary and start filling things in it until you are ready to do you award training.

In reply to unknownclimber6: Most trainers and assessors of qualifications such as the Single Pitch Award (SPA) and Summer Mountain Leader (SML) will accept a print out of an online record (such as a UKC logbook) if it is inserted into your training file.
As others have said the standard issue MLT logbook should be sent to you after registration. When training for an award you can get advice from whoever is running your course about preparing your logbook for assessment.
