does anyone know of a tent that can be carried split between two, that has a integrated groundsheet, in separate porch area?
Clever and very small Lab is not beyond popping out and having a wander in the night. Fortunately, she's not a chewer, so if we can find a tent with sewn in groundsheet....... Would have dogs in with us if space/partners asthma would allow. But no. Any ideas?

Spent a night in one of these, with a dog, a while back. Spacious porch and very sturdy.

Sorry, just re-read you post. Do you mean a sewn in groundsheet in the porch area too?

Don't know of one that would be very light. The groundsheet would have to be tough/heavy to withstand dogs claws.

How about something like the Go Lite Shagri-La with a custom Ookworks inner. You'd essentially be able to have the inner made up to suit your own specs.

How about instead getting a stake and tying her to that in the porch as a sewn in groundsheet often just leads to puddles of water.

Take your inhaler and get her in there with you. Besides the dog farting and stinking all night shell be a good heat source and there will be no washing up to do after meals :-D

In reply to Sakura: How about a Vango Nitro Lite or Spirit 200+? Massive porches for gear and dogs. I use some polycro for a cheap light groundsheet for the porch. If the dogs aren't too strong, tie them to a peg, pole and or each other? I dog screw is quite heavy to carry
