In reply to An Triubhas: a quick search online came up with lots of hits. I just put in, peak district scramble routes, into a search engine.

yes I gather that also, I am after ideas of scrambles that people have personally enjoyed.

I know Google will list lots of scrambles, but some will be crap, other's really good and it was that feedback I was after.

Haven't done any of them yet, but I've got my eye on the ones in Winnats pass, but am prepared to be disspointed based on opinions of some of my mates. Crib Goch, Blencathra, Bristly Ridge and Hellvelyn are are great fun, and only a couple of hours drive.
