Hi, I do some climbing the best to for a while and i though i will have a go in abseil and i was wondering is for abseil only is good static rope or low stretch, what about dynamic rope's? I got 60m single 10mm dynamic, will be this ok or i have to look for static? Thanks

In reply to DomNaSekwanie: Will be absolutely fine. If you want to do lots of abseiling buy some static, it is better and will last longer

Dynamic rope is fine but you need to take more care of it where it runs over edges as it is less resistant to rubbing than static.
