Are there many? I'm just watching 'Eiger Wall of Death" which i recorded from BBC4 at some point and was wondering if there are any othe films which have interviews and footage to discuss other significant mountains, climbs or partnerships or, well any aspect of climbing mountaineering history?
If you know of any, do you also now any ways to get hold of them?

In reply to puppythedog: There are definitely quite a few James.
Here's a couple for you:
Mountain Men - Tall Tales and High Adventure - BBC
The Edge: One Hundred Years of Scottish Mountaineering - BBC

You might be able to Google a supplier, and have you checked out steepedge.com. Climbing for the Fatherland is on there in the Eiger bracket, Vertical Frontier - History of Yosemite, etc.

In reply to puppythedog:
Everest Unmasked- about Messner's first O2 less ascent.
There are also a couple of Werner Herzog docs, but their names escape me.
