Are there any limitations to how he's tied his coils off? youtube.com/watch?v=kSh7CO5PTVA&

i.e. is tying off you coils with an overhand knot the bog standard method of moving together? Are there other situations where you'd vary the rope work e.g. the prussik option for glacier travel shown at the end of the video.

In reply to mmmhumous: Prussic's for glacier travel as per the video, for moving together on rock where you may want to extend the rope quickly use a clove hitch on a crab clipped to your tie in loop.
