Got 10 days to go to chamonix/cogne as of Saturday and just checked the weather; a foehn wind arrives sat night and weather is changeable thereafter. Going by car and have had limited expense so far. Having experience a few trips to this area hanging around for decent weather, it just drives me mad. Can someone please advise once you have checked out the weather. Our plans are a couple of days in cogne then look at some routes off the Argentiere basin, cheers Rick
