Keswick Mountain Festival, Wednesday 15th to Sunday 19th May!
The Keswick Mountain Festival is set to be a cracking event this year, with over 150 activities to get involved with over 5days! Set in the heart of the Lake District, it inspires thousands of visitors to get into the great outdoors.
There are loads of activities including guided hikes, coaching MTB courses, mountain navigation days, paddling sessions, family activities and much more.
Climb activities include DMM / AMI Learning to Lead and Problem Solving plus Hands On Rock courses.
The Festival hosts a line up of fantastic speakers including Monty Halls, Simon Yates, Andy Kirkpatrick, Sir Chris Bonington, Nick Bullock, Alan Hinkes OBE and Paul Rose.
New for 2013 is the Film Evening programme which includes the Silva Bike Night featuring the latest bike films and Andy Hopkins, 7Stanes Trail Builder will be speaking about A Day In The Life Of A Trail Builder, Pete Whittaker will be presenting and screening his film Wideboyz and Red Bull will be transporting you into a world of extreme adventure including Freeski big air specialist & slopestyle skier, Paddy Graham and other Red Bull athletes.
The Festival Village is open from 17 - 19 May and is packed full of have a go activities including climbing walls, paddling taster sessions, bike demo teams, the amazing bike airbag plus stands, music, a fantastic atmosphere and it is Free to enter!
