Looking for a good mixed running shoe, road and trail suitable. I'm aware you can't have everything but with all the new innov8 shoes etc it's an exploded market and there is probably something out there.

Don't have 10 hrs to read reviews !

Can anyone suggest a good brand/model?

I like quite a bit of cushioning. No flat feet. Pretty standard foot strike.

Thanks

JJ

Depends on the mix of road and trail, but have a look at he Adidas Adizero XT.

In reply to jazzyjackson: Brooks Cascadia is worth a look, strikes a good balance if you want one shoe to do everything. Decent grip but fine on roads too.

More road than trail to be sure !
Normally run my shoes till well past their "sole by date" so careful selection needed.
Thanks for the tip ; )

Try the Inov8 roclite 305's
I was looking for the same criteria as you and they fitted the bill brilliantly.
They're prob disc now but some sites will have them.

Innov8 Terroc 330s seem pretty good and allround to me and I found them cheap-ish for 40-something quid.

Trashed in no time if you use them on the road regularly.

I have and would recommend the Inov8 roc lite 315, which I chose mainly for trail, but is fine on roads and even in the gym.

+1 for Brooks Cascadias. Really good all-rounder.
