Planning on walking to Kinder Downfall on Sunday. Is it all nice and snowy round there still? Note - not interested in ice conditions - just whether there's snow to play in

The sun has been out all morning. 5-10 mph winds on the tops. Plenty of snow about but melting in the sun.

Back tor has unstable snow in the gully and towards the top the snow is melting.

Thanks for the update. We'll stay away from gullies and stuff. We will be a party of at least 4 tomorrow eating flapjacks. Wave if you see us.

I can send you some pics of Thursdays conditions,
when I was up there,should still be fairly similiar-
dependent on which route you plan (just PM me with email)

although be aware of an Avalanche in Winnats Pass on Friday
