This sounds like a great idea anyone thinking of going?

430 Euro's for 7 days accommodation, food and lift pass sounds like a good deal. Especially when you consider its 50 Euro's for a return trip up the Aiguille du Midi!

Pretty cheap!

But...it will be incredibly busy I bet.

In reply to Stewy12: It's a ruddy good deal esp as it's all inclusive and from previous years I've never found June to be that busy because its the start of the season..

I just had dinner with Francoise who is organising this and they're pretty keen about it all. There'll be gear demos etc and buses to move people around to better weather etc. Could be good for someone's first time, or someone without a partner.

Plus stuff to get inspired from:

Pre launch of a film on the Drus with Andy Parkin and Steve House

Mazeno ridge team will also give a talk (see Piolets d'or)

In reply to Stewy12: compared to July and august it wont be busy. Hope it runs next year when I won't have a new baby!

In reply to alasdair19:

We could run a seminar: how to climb with babies!

In reply to francoisecall: there was a worrying trend amongst My friends of how can I scramble with a baby on My back. Not a trend to encourage!

In reply to alasdair19:

Or 100 ways to convince your mum or mother in law to babysit while you both go climbing!
