Tom Randall on the first ascent of Nah'han - E8 6c Gardoms, 4 kbTom Randall has added a fantastic looking new E8 6c to Gardoms Edge in the Peak District, UK.

The route is now called Nah'han and was headpointed by Tom for the first ascent and swiftly repeated by Pete Whittaker the same day for the second ascent. It is a bold and slappy gritstone arete and is quite like the Black Rocks route Meshuga...

This looks great, but I can't place it. If it is the arete of Crocodile where is Make it Snappy? Or have I got the wrong buttress altogether?

Yes, the arete of Make It Snappy, on the LH side, with a direct approach.

In reply to UKC News: "hug your way up the leaning prow" sounds like an interesting style of climbing. Reminds me of another route - can't think which.
