Just wondering if anyone has been along the ridge in last couple of days and how is it looking in terms of snow cover/mostly rocky? Any info appreciated!!

In reply to peebles boy: traversed the ridge 2 days ago the South side was bare but the crest was still holding snow and neve the whole way along. The north side is packed with snow still and the gullys and grooves along the pinnacles were full of neve and snow. so full winter conditions really.

Might have melted back a bit since but would still expect winter conditions for a lot of it.

We were on Ben Nevis yesterday and it was pissing rain up to ~700m with fairly heavy snow above that. I hope that helps a bit.

In reply to peebles boy: Did Aonach Eagach on Saturday. Only a couple of tiny patches of snow which were easy enough to cross. The gullies and some of the higher slopes on the north side of the ridge have still got a fair bit of snow but the rock on the ridge is otherwise completely clear.
