It was very good last Saturday! Best cover is on N and W facing slopes: south facing terrain very patchy below 900m.
A couple of easy tour suggestions:
Ski car park - Loch Vrotachan - Carn a' Gheiodh - Coire Clachach - Baddoch Burn - Loch Vrotachan - car park.
Car park at Sean Spittal Bridge (2.5km N of the ski area) - Sron na Gaoithe ridge - Cairn of Claise - Carn Tuirc - car park. Normal descent is "Turkey Gully", the stream line on the NW side of Carn Tuirc but a direct descent W from the summit was in brilliant nick last weekend. You can easily add an out-and-back to Glas Maol if you want.
