This years Cooper Hill Memorial Race is being held on the 28th April. Starting at 12.30pm.
The race is held in memory of two Aberdeen University Lairig members who tragically died winter climbing in the Cairngorms. More info can be found here:

The course will comprise of a 12km run/walk/stroll around Loch Muick, and a final loch side challenge at the boat house, before the sprint back to Alt-na-G bothy for prizes, raffle and food.
There will be a nominal charge of £2 to enter, and all money raised on the day will go to Cairngorm Mountain Rescue.
Entrants need not be super-fit and the course can be run or walked, although the running beasts are more then welcome to try and beat the track record. Try and spread the word, this event is open to all, Lairig members or not. The more the merrier!
There will be limited transport available from Aberdeen to Loch Muick, leaving at 10.30am from outside Aberdeen Sports Village. Let me know if you require a lift!
