I've heard different advice from various people on how to clean a rope, from going down it with a toothbrush to simply sticking it in the washing machine. Is there any method which is agreed upon by the majority that works well? Cheers!
I could go on for a while! Everybody uses a slightly different technique, I just bathe in warm water, give the sheath a bit of a scrub to get the grit out and then shake it in the bath tub for a while and leave it to dry
