Is it legal to set up and abseil on Meldon Viaduct (Near Okehampton)?

I have a few non-climbing mates that fancy having a go.

Also as a local there for 18 years before heading for the middle of the moor I would recommend the Plymouth Inn for real ale should you be thirsty!

Turn left at the main traffic lights when you head down the hill from the YHA and head. Next door to a good chippy too!

We have a couple of Meximates cooking up a storm and we ALL have to dress as Bowie - I've got Ziggy!!! Happy days!
