A bit of office help appreciated. Somehow I've managed to change the view in all office programmes so the ribbon looks like this. Any ideas how to undo it?

Do they work for you or do you work for them?

In reply to Philip:

The management of the company (who you do work for) won't be happy if you make the IT facility cost a load more by installing your own stuff.

So both.

not sure what you have managed there so this may or may not work.
Go to file and then options.
Customise Ribbon and Reset.

In reply to Philip: Yep, libreoffice would be great if only it were compatible with Office.

But it's not.

It is in 99% of situations. It's quite rare that I come across something that doesn't open fine in LO these days.

The point is, if sorting your computer is your job then why no it use Libre office. If the problem is the responsibility of an IT department then get them to fix it. There is no point having one and doing it yourself.
