Hello,

I had to borrow a MTB last weekend as mine was in being repaired, and I know the saddle was a little low for me (as I wasn't used to the bike i wanted a bit more space to manoever on the down hills etc).

I have now developed a pain behind the left knee that I haven't experienced before - is this likely to be just because I did 20K with on a bike withthe saddle a bit low (in which case why no pain in the other knee?) or is this probably unrelated?

Cheers

In reply to balmybaldwin: Weird, back of the knee pain would normally indicate the saddle was too high. Not sure what to suggest. I normally link to this site which is quite useful:

In reply to balmybaldwin:

It is odd, it hurts when I flex the knee, and when I press behind the knee too - your site suggests possible Hamstring issue which is in the area where it hurts, but I can't think of anything that would have caused this except riding with saddle too low (fairly sure it wssn't too far back)
