Virtually next to Rivelin Edge, and a 40 minute brisk walk to Stanage Pole.

Whilst it's not guaranteed, if you were to turn up after hours and pitch your tent, and then pay in the morning it tends not to be a problem. (I'm sure this shouldn't be done, but I have done it in the past with no problems.
