Hello folks,

My trusty first aid kit bag has died a death (the zip has fell apart) and I'm looking for a new First Aid Kit BAG. Anyone know where you can get an empty "something" similar to the life systems/karrimor FAK bags, i.e. without paying through the nose for all the bits inside it I don't need?

Cheers,
Gordon

Try one of these

I have used all three of them at one point or another, but I get most of my stuff now from the top one.

I use one of these for my first aid kit, it's mostly waterproof, and takes everything I need with a bit of room to spare.

I just use an aloksak bag for my first aid stuff. Light, waterproof, and you can mostly see what's inside it from the outside. Just replaced the last one which lasted about 4 years before the ziploc gave up the ghost.

Second the POD sac - keeps everything dry and clean. I have a couple of little zip top bags inside my 'group' kit to subdivide things and make it easy to find specific items without having to dig through the entire kit

not sure whats in your kit, but if you keep it rolled up in a 25L dry bag with a valve then it works as a splint as well (not to mention pillow, water carrier, flotation device etc as well).
