Abseil length Eiger South ridge
Can anyone help me out with the maximum length of abseils on the South ridge route on the Eiger from the Monchsjoch hut? Just trying to work out which rope to take.

In reply to 1philjones1: Hi Phil did this route in Sept 2009 as descent post mittelagi ridge. Used a single 50m half rope with no issue.
