Hey, just though i'd tap the collective wisdom of UKC. Anyone got any good ideas for any bridge swinging sites near manchester? I'm from ashton myself.

You can use this thread for anything rope jumping related, anything you've done, rigging ideas/questions or 'yer gunna die!'

Any ideas for a good rope retrieval system?

In reply to FreshSlate: Bump Think i've found a really cool bridge. Bit big for my first and will take some balls just getting up there (maybe night operation) but looks awesome and the jump fairly straight forward.

Measure your ropes carefully (natch) and don't forget stretch (don't use a static, even for a swing). Just have a spotter at the jump point to retrive the ropes PDQ.
