I'm not putting this in the For Sale and Wanted section as the car isn't up for sale yet, but.........I live in Briancon, France and am about to buy a new car. My right hand drive C4 has been reregistered here and is subject to France's MOT (Controlle Technique)in October. Although the car is driving well it won't pass unless I change the lights and probably renew the rear brakes(expensive). Does anyone know if there's a market for a cheap car that will reliably last through a summer for someone wanting a car in the Alps/Provence without the hassle of driving down here/ferry charges etc ?If people are interested I can find out the rough cost of taking out insurance here, which might be more practicable.
