Last month saw the first of this year's Southern Sandstone Open Meeting held at Bowles Rocks.
The meetings give climbers a chance to have their say on issues such as access, erosion and repairs on crags, bolting, top-roping and many other issues. The people who attend want to maintain the rock and surrounding areas for future generations to use, and the people attending don't grumble to themselves about it, they raise their queries to get things done.
