Hi,

Does anyone have experience of taking boulder mats on the Eurostar (London to Paris)?

I've seen on the website that there are some luggage limitations, including 85cm maximum length... but I've heard contradictions from one or two friends who've successfully taken large pads on the train in the past.

I'd just like to know what to expect when I turn up at St. Pancras station!

So, any problems expected, or will we just be waved through?

Thanks,
Andy

In reply to andyjirvin: went out there about a month ago and the only issue we had was on the way back they were a bit funny about the size of them but managed to blag our way through by telling them we had called to make sure it would all be fine in advance

I've taken a mat on the Eurostar in the past. Security mainly seemed concerned it would fit through the scanner (mine did, so I didn't have a problem).

Thanks, both stories are similar to what I heard. It does give me a bit more confidence so I guess we'll just turn up with the mats!
