cuttings access - save me 3 minutes walk!

does anyone know about the parking for the cuttings? I usually use the church ope car park, but have recently seen people using the small area behind the mermaid inn. Is this free game to use or am I going to upset some crazy locals?

Probably off limits. Park at church ope and suck it up :P
