Vantage Point (a few years old actually, but it has Dennis Quaid in it so that's nice)

Yes, I was just about to post this.

Have you seen Star Trek: Into Darkness?

Or "Oz The Great And Powerful" which I rather loved?

In reply to The Lemming: the Expendables 1 and two or second the Star Trek.

It just so happens that I watched Star Trek's into darkness last night and I've ticked off both expendables.

I've sort of made my mind up with Oblivion, but the night is young and I could watch something else after that.

Do you really discount films with subtitles?

He does, because he is dyslexic. I assume that this means that the extra effort he needs to put in to reading subtitles, disables his ability to watch the film at running pace (i.e. he'll have to pause it LOADS just to keep up)

Up his back alley?
 ripper 06 Sep 2013
In reply to Blue Straggler:
sorry - yes it does have subtitles but not a huge amount of dialogue...
I guess that also discounts Hero, Le Samourai, Lola Rennt, Mesrine 1 & 2....

Hun, it's bound to get you off.
The original is better than the remake but they are both shite

There's a remake?

Thanks for the suggestion.

strangely, I don't watch porn films as the actors are wooden and the plots, if any exist, are also wooden.

I'm just a simple rodent who loves films and the art of story telling.

Ha, you think I watch them all the time, noooooo! Does any body actually sit and watch a whole porn film anyway?

@Blue- Yes, there was a remake but even that is quite old I think.

Anyway our DVD is broken I discovered on Friday night, after you put the thought of watching a movie in my head.A proper movie, put your pervy head away!

I loved that film but found it truly harrowing and heart renching. Excellent film but I'm quite sure it has been suggested to our furry friend on lots of occasions.
