Jack Geldard takes the Shield Lite helmet from Edelrid out on the crag testing the comfort and fit.

He finds a robust, lightweight helmet, but was it cool?

In reply to UKC Gear: I have one and I must say there is a fundimental design flaw with the headlamp clips. Try putting a one on with gloves on and you'll see!!

In reply to Dave Searle: I've put a headlamp on my Shield II without too much faff as I remember it. Many modern low profile helmets have fiddly clips, I guess there are just somethings you need to take your gloves off for!
