Magical Mystery Tour approach

I was near Berry Head this weekend, so went to check out MMT for future reference. The 15 ft swell meant that a climb wasn't really on the cards.

A question on the approach...

I took the steep path down to the Great Cave gearing up ledge. From there I followed a ramp down towards the cave. It was soaking wet so I stopped when I was on the ramp, just above 2 big threads about 5 feet apart.

From here do you use the threads to lower down, or do you keep traversing in above the threads? It was so wet it was hard to gauge.

Thanks

In reply to andy healey:

Down climb directly past the threads and then trend left (towards the great cave) as you get lower. It looks a little unlikely from above but the holds are all there.
