Hi guys,
Got the Black Diamond Serac STRAP crampons recently for my expedition to the Himalaya in 2 weeks. Using the Millet Everest GTX boots with them. However, I only have experience with the Grivel Air-Tech Light clip crampons and went with the BD's as I was advised to. I didn't think twice about the strap system but I've got them and I'm not sure I'm fitting them right. Something I want to practice well before the exped of course.
I can get them on comfortably and quite tight but don't know whether the cord first goes from the rear plastic strap over the top of the boot into the hole of the strap on the other side, or goes around the outside the front of the boot first?
Anyone who has them- your guidance is appreciated!
