Sorry this heads up is a bit delayed - it's been a bit of a hectic week...
Durham University Mountaineering Club are heading to Brimham Rocks this weekend for our Freshers' Meets. To ease the pressure on the crag, we will be there both days, and we are taking smaller groups on each occasion. Fairly usual club/Fresher activity - easy bouldering and some top ropes, most likely on the Cubic Block. We will hopefully however, have moved into smaller rope teams by the afternoon.
I am also aware that another university club will also be using Brimham for their Freshers' Meet on the Sunday (using the Cracked Buttress area), so the crag could be quite busy then. If anyone has routes they want to do in affected areas on either day, let us know here or come have a chat at the crag, and we'll try make it available.
