suggest a climbing wall please Manchester East

Friend is meeting me from Wakefield (me from north wales) was thinking Rope Race or Awesome Walles Stockport.
What do you suggest in that area?
Been to MCC, which is also an option.

From those three, Stockport has the most to offer, I think. It is large, very tall, varied. Rope race is quite old and rather small, Rokt is a bit of an acquired taste though if you want bouldering it is probably the best.

Overall I've been to 7 or 8 indoor walls around the country and AW at Stockport is by far the best.

In reply to owena: Well we went to AW stockport and indeed we enjoyed it very much. good variety of walls. I really liked the natural rock type climbs, I didnt like the 'big wall' at the back as it was completely flat and featureless. The RopeRace high wall is much more interesting.
Ill definately be going there again
