It's been ages since I've been in to the Alps (we used to climb happily on the Bossons in those days) and am hoping to have trip early May - do you think the snow/weather conditions on the easier mountains above 4000 meters would be reasonable then? Ta.
In reply to Mountain Lass: That is more or less the peak of the ski-touring season, so ideal for that. For Alpinism, much more awkward, especially if you are not intending to use snoe-shoes.
