MEGA BIKE EXPEDITION 2013

Red Belt Expedition of Rajkot, Gujarat’s youth
For the youth, with the youth, lead by the youth, Sky High Adventure Club of Rajkot has organized Bike expedition-2013 of 32 days. The expedition is the nice blend of adventure and the message.
In the first route, these 21 riders are to ride from Kanyakumnari to Kashmir with 3855 kilometers on their bikes that would include passing through 8 states icluding Tamilnadu, Andhrapradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhyapradesh, Utar Pradesh, Hariyana and Jammu Kashmir, with the cities like Kanyakumari, Madurai, Bangalore, Kurnul, Haidrabad, Alidabad, Nagpur, Hedadhar, Zansi, Agra, Panipat, Jammu and Shrinagar.
Bikers are on expedition with the messages like ‘Wear Helmet’, ‘Safety first, everything after that’ which they would spread with banner, board, pamphlet, public addresses etc. Sky High Adventure Club, an ISO 9001:2008 organization strives to give an opportunity to the person to experience their courageous soul. The expedition is started on the Independence Day i.e. 15th August 2013 from Kanyakumari with a celebration programme.
In this programme of total 32 days of Sky High Adventure Club, the second phase will be started on 29 August, 2013 from Shrinagar amidst dangerous mountain areas which will end at Rajkot, Gujarat. This phase will be of 18 days. During this adventure, young darers will go through difficult roads, heighted mountains, diverse weather of total 5 states including Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat and will pass through Jojila Pass (11,500 Feet height), Dras, Kargil, Leh (they will attend the Leh Festival), Khaddungala (which is the highest peak motorable road, 18380 Feet) , Tanse, Upasi, Tanglala Pass (height 17469 feet), Nakila Pass (height 15547), Lanchungla Pass (16616 feet), Sarchu, Bara Lancha Pass (14892 feet), Kilong, Kaza, Akapa, Simla, Bhatinda, Jodhpur, Morbi and they would reach to Rajkot where a celebration is planned by the fellow friends and families. In this second phase of the programme, these young bikers, will salute to the great India Army and tell them, ‘salute to Indian Army’, we support the best army of the world.’ With the same message they will distribute pamphlet, banner, etc. The expedition includes biking for the total 7,194 kilometers which will be worth for Limca Book of National Record and India Book of National Record.
The bikers of this 7,194 kilometers motorbike expedition 2013 are: Bharatsinh Parmar (Rajkot), Dr. Devendra Kalariya (Rajkot) (these both hold 3 times Limca Book of National Record and 2 India Book of National Record), Chirag Sodha (Rajkot), Dinesh Thakur (Lakhpat- Kutch), Sanjay Kalariya (Rajkot), Rohit Kalariya (Rajkot), Mukesh Acharya (Rajkot), Denish Kalariya (Rajkot), Kulbhushan Katoch (Baroda), Sudhanshu Mukherji (Bhagalpur-Bihar), Sachit Dhatrak (Nashik-Maharashtra), Manish Pandya (Bhavanagar), Kunal Choksi (Bhavanagar), Jayesh Unadakat (Rajkot), Kalpesh Bagdai (Rajkot), Chetas Kothari (Rajkot), Elen Songavlker (Rajkot), Ashok Mozesh (Rajkot), Devang Kotecha (Rajkot), Yashpalsingg Gohil (Bhavanagar), Sandip Joshi (Than) and Mahavirsinh Chudasama (Than), Dharmesh Harpal (Dhoraji).
The president of Sky High Adventure Club Mr. Bharatsinh told that the club has done total 11 expeditions of district level, state level and national level successfully before this mammoth expedition. These expeditions include Coastal Gujarat Motor bike expedition 2011, Kutch Bike trip- 2011, East to West (Mizoram to Porbandar), Green Belt Motorbike Expedition (2011), Gir Biking 2011, Kutch Bike Trip (2012), Saputara Bike Trip- 2012, Vagha Border to Rajkot Biking- 2012, Rajkot-Gangotri Vagha Border Bike Expedition- 2012, Goa Bike Trip- 2012, Kumbhalgadh (Rajasthan) bike trip- 2012, Mandavi (Kutch) BikeTrip-2013.Sky High Adventure Club also organizes mounteering courses and trekking camps.
