Hi all,

My friend and I are planning a last minute trip to Morocco, leaving perhaps this Sunday. I was wondering if anybody knew if the conditions in Taghia lend itself to climbing this time of year?

Thanks in advance

Cold and probably snowy. Friends of ours had snow and said it was too cold to climb in late september (though we were fine two weeks later). It's quite high up, and I don't expect many walls will see much sun this time of year. Todra is probably a better idea.

Too cold. It snowed just a few hundred metres above the village when I was there in June a few years back. As Alex says, Todra is a better bet in the winter.

Currently in Tafraout and it's pretty ace. Nights are a little chilly, but daytimes are sunny and in the 20s. Not much bolt clipping, mind.

In reply to michael00693: Akchour is the best pace for sport climbing at this time of year.
