Snowdonia today

Anyone been out in Snowdonia today? Heading up late tonight and wondering if it's worth packing the axe and crampons.

not at all. It was cold on Moelwyns but no sign of snow.

That said, if you've got room for them - you could tempt fate?!

I couldnt see any snow or ice, but knowing snowdonia there will be pockets here and there, I wouldnt bother with axes or crampons tbh unless you go specifically looking for patches to play on

were you walking or running on the moelwyns? I usually run up there after work on a tuesday or wednesday, havent seen many others up there though.

In the rhinogs today cold wet and windy. No snow or ice.
