Got some u Brakes for a bmx. similar fitting to v or cantilever Brakes on Other bikes.

However, the fixing bolts supplied only go in half way then stop.

Any Thoughts? Wrong Length bolts? knackered lug threads?

In reply to Choss: u shud b able to estimate depth of lug thread and compare to bolt length.

How far do they screw in?

Cud just b 2 long? Hacksaw?

Used to have a back u brake on my 1st mtb, gt tequesta!

Got it Sorted at last. just hacksawed couple mil off end of bolts.
