Beal Edlinger II vs Mammut Vertex Rope
Hi everyone,
I have a quick question on the above-mentioned ropes. I'm generally trying to look for an all-round climbing rope for beginners. Main features I'm looking for is one which handles well and good shock absorption (low impact force). This rope will mainly be used for outdoor sport climbing and I anticipate many falls with it.
I can't decide between the Beal Edlinger II 10.2mm (50m) or Mammut Vertex 10mm (50m). Which one should I go for?
Thanks

I have no experience of the specific ropes but in general terms I have always thought that Beal ropes feel nicer to handle but don't seem to last as long as Mammut.
