In reply to Gav Parker:

you'd probably need to use a proper computer as a connector

You'll need an intermediate PC/laptop to move your music from however its stored on your nexus to itunes - then download onto the ipod nano.

Unless its on spotify or compatible app on your nexus and has an option to transfer to itunes in the app.

Hope this helps

Hmmm ... possibly. If the Nexus 7 supports USB on the go (google OTG cable) you might get the two to talk. But I suppose you'd need an itunes app for the Nexus that would do the syncing bit - I don't use iAnything so don't know whether you can just drag and drop stuff on or use an alternate app?

You can try this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homeysoft.nexususb.import...
in conjunction with an On The Go cable. Never tried with an Apple product though, but wouldn't be surprised if it fails. It does work for usb sticks e.t.c.

OTG works OK with Nexus 7 but it is a one way transfer.
Same as using an app like Wifi File Transfer
Both just let you transfer files from a PC to the Nexus or device.

Not sure how you can get a file off the Nexus 7 and back to the PC or an iPad for that matter.
