Did a course with this company, bloke called Chris did the training. It was brilliant for what we wanted and very reasonably priced.

Nicola at HIGH PEAK FIRST AID. The best IMHO.

Try Will Legon - http://www.will4adventure.com/first_aid_courses.shtml

I did my last course with him and it was a very good mix of theory and practical, including some stuff outdoors.

I'd second the recommendation for High Peak First Aid, fantastic course and delivery, will definitely be returning once my first aid certification needs renewing!

Totally agree, about to do my renewal for the 2nd time with High Peak First Aid. Not met Nicola, she was off on her travels when I went, but all their instructors are great, real experience of outdoor stuff as well as first aid.

Thanks for the replies I will look into these, but really I was looking for an independent instructor who could put on a course for 12 of us, I have done this before successfully, and would use the same person again but that is not an option.

Thanks for the recommendation Caroline!

I'm an independent trainer, operating under the name Wilderness Development, and I provide a range of first aid courses, including the 16hr outdoor course that many folk are looking for.

I'd be really happy to give you a ring to talk through options, or you could have a read through my site at http://www.wilderness-development.com/first-aid

Please do give me a ring if I can provide any help or info whatsoever.
