The blurb from DMM majors on "certain assisted belay devices" which I'm guessing means grigris? But how does the rhino behave with standard bug / atc type devices? Anyone tried it? Any improvements over a standard HMS? Cheers. Dom.

In reply to Landy_Dom:

Your bang-on with the GriGri being the main reason for the Rhino. With a standard belay (in my case a reverso 4) it works as any HMS would. The spine of the Rhino is pretty good for tying off the belay. Plus the twist-lock is easy to use and means I don't tend to check my screwgate is done up every 3 seconds.
