I love Horse Pens 40. What a fantastic bouldering area and the camping is right at the rock. Last year we rented a cabin for 25 bucks a night, which included the 8 dollar climbing day fee. Heat, power, and four bunks. So fun!

Saw Dave working on God Module and he looked pretty close to getting it. It seems it all went to plan shortly thereafter. Conditions were mint for it. HP40 is great and well worth the trip. The history and atmosphere make it special before you even start to consider the amazing rock and the great problems. Having said that, Stone Fort (Little Rock City) is the place to be. Chattanooga is a really smart destination for a climbing trip in the south with 3 major bouldering areas within an hours drive (Stone Fort 20 mins, Rock Town 40 mins, HP40 1hr and a bit) and all the sport and trad routes you could want at T Wall, a short drive from downtown. Seriously, the south has a lot of high quality rock.
