A few years ago I had an unfortunate incident in the winter that necessitated the support of Oban Mountain Rescue Team. Since then, I've been doing some voluntary photography work for them and for Scottish Mountain Rescue in general.

To highlight an awareness of Scottish Mountain Rescue's charitable status, I'm sharing a set of postcards and labels that I've created for Oban MRT that they can use as part of their fund-raising activities. (The idea being, for example, they can persuade their local newspaper to include them as an insert in a way that may help increase any possible donations).

The images were taken during training sessions I attended with Oban MRT last year plus one from the Mountain Rescue Committee of Scotland's annual conference;

For background information, Oban Mountain Rescue Team are one of a number of volunteer Mountain Rescue Teams in Scotland. All the teams offer a world class, front line, voluntary search and rescue service that is available any hour, any day and any weather, 365 days a year (often in hostile weather).

You can find out more about Scottish Mountain Rescue at http://www.mountainrescuescotland.org.

Cheers,

Colin
