NEWS: NEWSFLASH: Fitzroy Traverse for Honnold and Caldwell

The Fitzroy Traverse - starting on the far right., 3 kbAmerican climbers Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell have made the first ascent of the 5km long Fitzroy Traverse in Patagonia, Argentina.

The duo traversed the following peaks in their mega link-up: Aguja Guillaumet, Aguja Mermoz, Cerro Fitz Roy (3405m), Aguja Poincenot, Aguja Rafael Juárez, Aguja Saint-Exúpery and Aguja de l'S.

Errr - wow.....mostly done in approach shoes with less kit than you would take to Stanage for the day, between them.....gulp. Hats off to the gents.
